Our History
Rockland Luggage was founded in 1955 by the Sadow family in California, USA. The company started as a small luggage repair shop but soon expanded into designing and manufacturing its own luggage sets.
In the beginning, Rockland focused on basic but sturdy molded and softside luggage styles. As airline travel grew in popularity over the decades, we evolved to offer lightweight and modern spinner luggage, versatile backpacks, totes and travel accessories.
Today, Rockland Luggage is still a family-owned business, now being led by third generation owner Jonathan Sadow. We take pride in continuing the tradition of providing great value luggage while keeping up with the latest trends and technology. Our headquarters is located in Los Angeles, allowing our design team to be at the forefront of travel, fashion and lifestyle influences.
